As we wrap up another year, I am so grateful for your involvement in the Sierra Chapter. All our speaker events, sponsorships, scholarships, fundraisers, conferences, and more would not be possible without your participation and financial support. Thank you!
I especially want to thank our Board of Directors and our Chapter Administrator. Lincoln Leaman, Ian Broddrick, Stephanie Crary, Marco Palilla, Erik Fanselau, Tom Sell, Dana Remington, Rosa Griggs, Howard Michael, Chad Coleman, Scott Lillibridge, and Rami Gharaibeh who volunteer their time and resources to make our industry better.
The January 2025 meeting will be here in a blink. Join us for our joint APWA lunch on January 10, at the Dante Club.
Senator Angelique Ashby will update our membership on state resources, news from the Capitol, and infrastructure issues and priorities for the year. Click here to register.
Note: If you are not an APWA member, you will need to set up an account. You DO NOT need to become a member.
Our November luncheon featured a panel discussion on Alternate Delivery Methods, moderated by our board Vice President, Lincoln Leaman (TRC). The panel included two builder representatives, Mark Mannucci (Flint) and Mark Hopkins (Otto), an owner’s representative, Dustin Rath (TRC), and an owner, Jim Rogers (Caltrans). The panel addressed over a dozen questions that addressed risk, collaboration, benefits, and best practices.
The active Q&A session included excellent follow-up questions covering an equally broad scope of interest.
